How do you estimate a cleaning job?

Start with a base price for the home size (bedrooms and bathrooms, or square feet), then price each add-on separately: inside the oven, inside the fridge, windows, baseboards, cabinets, laundry. Add-ons are where a cleaning business makes its margin and where clients see what they are paying for, so give each one a line of its own.

For a first clean on a home that has not been cleaned professionally, charge more or state the extra hours. The first clean takes longer, and a client who was told so is fine with it.

What goes in a cleaning quote form?

The address and home size, pets, access (key, lockbox or someone home), how often, the base clean and the add-ons, the price per visit, and your terms: cancellation notice, supplies, payment. The sheet above covers all of it. Write the frequency into the job line so it prints at the top.

Should recurring cleans get a discount?

Most cleaning businesses charge less per visit for weekly or every-two-weeks service, because a home cleaned often is faster to clean and the schedule is guaranteed. Put the discount in the discount field instead of lowering the rate, so the client sees what they are saving by staying on the schedule.

How do I turn this into a PDF?

Fill in the sheet, press "Print or save as PDF", and pick "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer. Only the sheet prints: the page around it, the buttons and the remove marks are left off. On a phone, the share button in the print preview sends the PDF straight to email or WhatsApp.
