Terms of Service
The whole agreement, in two voices
ours, and the lawyer’s
These Terms govern your use of devshutter.in. Left of the fold is what each clause means in our words. Right of the fold is the clause as written — that is the one that counts.

The short version
- A price on this site is a starting point. The written proposal is the contract.
- What we build for you becomes yours once it is paid for.
- We keep the site accurate, but we do not promise results from reading it.
- Indian law applies, and nothing here removes a right the law gives you.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of devshutter.in (the "site") operated by DevShutter ("DevShutter", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Services we deliver to clients are governed by a separate written proposal or agreement, which prevails over these Terms where they differ.
Use of the site
Use the site honestly. Do not break into it, break it, or use it against anyone else.
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, or use it to infringe the rights of others.
Quotes and enquiries
A price on a page is where the conversation starts. Nothing is agreed until it is in a written proposal you have seen.
Any pricing, package, or estimate shown on the site is for general information and is not a binding offer. Final scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are confirmed in a written proposal or agreement before work begins.
Intellectual property
This website is ours. The site we build for you is yours, in full, once it is paid for.
The content, design, branding, and code of this site are owned by DevShutter or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse our content without permission. Ownership of work we create for clients transfers as set out in the relevant project agreement — typically to the client on full payment.
Third-party links and tools
Shopify, your host, your analytics: their rules are theirs. We cannot answer for what they do.
The site may link to or rely on third-party platforms (for example Shopify, hosting, or analytics providers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
Disclaimer
We keep this site up and accurate. We cannot promise it is perfect, or that reading it will make you money.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we make no guarantees about specific business results from information on this site.
Limitation of liability
If using this site costs you something indirectly, that is not on us — except where the law says it is, and then it is.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevShutter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
Indian law applies to these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mohali (SAS Nagar), Punjab have jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, the date at the top changes with them. Nothing changes quietly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the "last updated" date above.
Using the site is the signature. There is nothing else to sign, and nothing in the small print you have not just read.
