How is a City Report measured?
We list every independent business of one kind in one place, from OpenStreetMap or, for agencies, from that city's search results, and drop chains and duplicates. Each home page is fetched once and put through the nine checks we run before quoting any project: speed on a real phone, the mobile layout, a clear headline, one clear way to get in touch, technical SEO basics, structured data, trust signals, analytics and HTTPS. Nothing is submitted and nothing is logged into. A site passes, falls short or fails each check, and the report counts those results. Businesses are named only for doing well; the anonymised rows are free to download from our open data under CC BY 4.0.
